We have considerable experience in the weighing of large permanent or semi-permanent structures. Using high capacity strain gauge load cells in conjunction with controlled jacking procedures allows us to provide accurate weight data for differnet parts of structures. This is particularly useful on bridges where, for instance, we can measure changes in the loading patterns as remedial work is carried out. We can also weigh bridge sections as they are assembled on site to ensure maximum loads agree with theoretical weights.
